“Butterflies in the City” photo contest

Given the recent events, the deadline for participation in the photographic competition “Butterflies in the city” within the LIFE15 NAT / IT / 000989 Ticino Biosource project was postponed to 30 September 2020, no later than midnight (GMT + 2).

The theme of butterflies in an urban environment is open to the creativity of young people and adults, including different spaces, times and places, within the limits set by the ordinances in force. The aim is to give free rein to citizens’ creativity so that they can tell, through photography, their experience of any species of butterflies within the urban environment!

The competition consists of two categories: young people under the age of 18 and adults.

The prizes consist of:

1st prize: Binoculars (Pentax Papilio)

2nd prize: Backpack

3rd prize: Guide to recognition

Special recognition for the Metropolitan City of Milan: “The butterflies in the city” plaque and € 100.00 prize for photographic equipment
